Anglican Relief and Development is helping victims of the most devastating cyclone to hit Bangladesh in years. Cyclone Sidr ripped through the south of the country, killing thousands and leaving a trail of destruction.

Anglican Relief and Development is partnering with World Relief and Christian Service Society on the ground in Bangladesh to help deliver critical relief supplies to 6,900 families—approximately 34,500 people—in the worst-hit Khuna and Dhaka regions. In the aftermath, food is scarce and many of those who lost their homes desperately need shelter, blankets and clothing. Relief teams will distribute rice, lentils, beans, salt, baby food, molasses, blankets and clothing to the most vulnerable families—an act of pure Christian compassion that speaks volumes to hurting families of all religious backgrounds.

Cyclone Sidr is the most catastrophic storm since 1991 to hit Bangladesh, a nation of 150 million people that is prone to devastating natural disasters. YOU CAN HELP by sending your donation to:
