“But how are men to call upon him in whom they have not
believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never
heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? And how can men
preach unless they are sent?” [Romans 10:14-15a].

Anglicanism is at the forefront of a transformation in missions from a project of Western imperialism to a distributed global effort. We are even now reaping the harvest sown by Anglican missionaries in past centuries, as our friends in the Global South help us bring the Gospel back to the West.

Yet at the same time, much of the Middle and Far East has either never heard the Gospel, or is violently opposed to its imperialist baggage. You will find Anglican missionaries—from both West and South—on these front lines as well.

Global Anglicanism's balance between faithfulness to the Gospel, catholic and apostolic order, and adaptability to local custom fit it well to pursue the Great Commission. The Anglican Global Mission Partners manifest genuine zeal as well as this genuine unity-in-diversity.
